On February 19, 2026, the psychological Counseling Division held a scintific symposium in the college. The sessions included useful topics and scintific papaers, presented by different participants including dr. Hatim Fahad Hanu (dean of college), dr. Khalil Mohammed Hussein, and dr. Hijran Abdullah Ahmed. It was entitled ‘together for peace: raising community awareness to counter violent extremism”. The symposium reflected the role of the university of Mosul aand its colleges in consolidating the values of peace and protecting society from any extremist thought or behavior. Also, there was some active dialogues and comments from the attendees which enriched the sessions during the symposium.
