Mrs. Christine Courgeau at the Department of French Language
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Afeen, Dean of the College of Arts, received Mrs. Christine Courgeau, Attaché for Educational and Linguistic Cooperation at the French Embassy in Iraq. The reception was also attended by the Head of the French Department, Assistant Professor Ahmed Amin, in addition to the administration of the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute in Mosul and the administration of the Francophone Corner Unit at the University of Mosul.
Mrs. Courgeau also visited the French Department, where she met with the department’s teaching staff and both graduate and undergraduate students. Discussions were held about ways to enhance cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Cultural Attaché of the French Embassy in Iraq, as well as joint coordination regarding future projects and plans in the field of French language education.
