As part of the scientific activities of the Department of History, and under the patronage of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Al-Ibrahimi, with the support of the respected Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Afeen, and the personal follow-up of the respected Head of the Department of History, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Said, a group of history department professors from the College of Arts accompanied third-year students to one of the traditional Mosul heritage houses on Sunday, February 9, 2005.

The visit aimed to explore the heritage of the old city of Mosul, to understand and discover the city’s rich history and culture, including traditional arts, architecture, and local customs and traditions.
