Field Visit by Faculty and Students of the Translation Department to Al-Nuri Grand Mosque
As part of the student activities organized by the Department of Translation, and under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, Head of the Department, a group of third-year evening program students, accompanied by several faculty members, conducted a field visit to the Al-Nuri Grand Mosque and its iconic leaning minaret (Al-Hadba Minaret).
The purpose of the visit was to explore one of the city’s most significant heritage sites and to deepen students’ understanding of locations that are closely tied to the historical and cultural identity of Mosul.
