the Department of Translation is pleased to host Professor Justine BASS from Lindenwood University, USA, to deliver an interactive lecture
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, and the guidance of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Al-Tai, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Translation, Professor Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, the Department of Translation is pleased to host Professor Justine BASS from Lindenwood University, USA, to deliver an interactive lecture moderated by Assistant Professor Ali Hamada Makled.
The lecture is titled:
“Uprooted Identities and Translation: A Reading of Eva Hoffman’s Lost in Translation”
The event will take place at 9:00 PM (Baghdad time) on Monday, May 12, 2025, via Google Meet.
