Ph.D. Dissertation on “Organizational Culture, Behavior, and Communication Effectiveness in the Organization: A Field Study in the General Company for Mishraq Sulphur”

The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts discussed a Ph.D. dissertation titled “Organizational Culture, Behavior, and Communication Effectiveness in the Organization: A Field Study in the General Company for Mishraq Sulphur” on Monday, May 12, 2025. The session was attended in part by Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Hano, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadel, Head of the Department, along with a number of faculty members.
The dissertation, presented by student Mohammed Issa Mohammed Suleiman from the Department of Sociology, addressed the topics of organizational culture, behavior, and the effectiveness of organizational communication.
The study aims to understand the reality of organizational culture and its determinants at the General Company for Mishraq Sulphur. It also seeks to identify the extent to which organizational culture affects employee behavior, and how this culture can be leveraged to achieve the organization’s goals.
