The Scientific and Postgraduate Studies Committees in the Department of History convened their regular meeting, attended by the Head of the History Department. The committees deliberated on a number of significant topics related to the academic development of the department. The meeting addressed methods for updating curricula to align with modern scientific advancements, as well as enhancing the use of digital technologies in historical studies. This aims to elevate the efficiency of the educational process and keep pace with contemporary research methodologies.

Furthermore, the committee explored the possibility of integrating new courses focusing on “Sustainable Development,” thereby linking historical studies with contemporary global issues. A portion of the meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Taie, who underscored the role of the college and its departments in supporting national and international development goals.
