Arts Language Departments Organize Awareness Lectures on Afforestation

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, and with the follow-up of the heads of the English, Arabic, and French Language Departments, a series of awareness lectures was organized on “The Importance of Afforestation and Its Role in Environmental Protection and Achieving Sustainable Development.” These lectures are part of the college’s efforts to enhance environmental awareness among students.
A number of faculty members and students participated in these events. The lectures addressed the positive impact of afforestation on improving air quality and reducing the effects of climate change, as well as its aesthetic and environmental importance within cities and communities.
Speakers emphasized the necessity of instilling a culture of afforestation in younger generations and supporting environmental initiatives that contribute to protecting natural resources and achieving environmental sustainability.
These activities are part of a series of events launched by the college to enhance human interaction with environmental issues and highlight the role of scientific and humanities departments in supporting community causes.
