History Department Hosts Workshop on Elevating H-index for Researchers

The Department of History at the College of Arts recently organized a specialized scientific workshop titled “How to Raise Researchers’ H-index.” The session was led by instructors Aws and Ali Abbas from the English Language Department, and it saw the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Tai, along with several faculty members from the department.
The workshop provided a detailed explanation of the H-index concept and its significance in evaluating researchers’ scientific output. It also covered mechanisms and strategies for improving this index, such as publishing in reputable journals and increasing scientific citations for published research.
The Dean emphasized the crucial role of such workshops in supporting researchers’ academic journeys and elevating the college’s overall academic standing, commending the organizers for their efforts.
