College of Arts Organizes Workshop for Ministry of Labor Staff on “Applied Skills for Social Welfare Network Employees”
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Tai, the Employment, Rehabilitation, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Arts, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, represented by its head, Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadhel Al-Bayati, organized a training workshop titled: “Applied Skills for Social Welfare Network Employees.” The workshop took place on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Harith Hazim Ayoub and Assistant Professor Dr. Basima Faris Mohammed. It targeted employees from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs / Social Protection Department, aiming to enhance their practical competencies and connect academic knowledge with relevant field applications in their work.
This workshop aligns with the directives of the University of Mosul Presidency / Employment, Rehabilitation, and Follow-up Division, which seek to foster joint cooperation with government institutions. It also supports specializations linked to the job market, as part of the university’s endeavor to achieve effective partnership with the community and its official institutions.
