College of Arts

The College of Arts Council at the University of Mosul held its regular meeting today, chaired by Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, Dean of the College, and attended by council members, including heads of scientific departments and assistants.

The council discussed several academic and administrative topics. Key among these were organizing and updating faculty research titles and emphasizing the completion of procedures related to the Human Resources (HR) system. These measures aim to enhance administrative efficiency and update databases.

The Dean also stressed the importance of publishing scientific research in high-impact factor journals listed in international databases, affirming this as a crucial step to bolster the college’s academic standing in research forums.

Furthermore, the council underscored the necessity of integrating Sustainable Development Goals into the college’s scientific and academic plans and programs. This integration will involve incorporating them into research and teaching activities, reflecting the college’s commitment to national and international trends in this field.
