College of Arts Lecturer Publishes Book on Young Poets in Iraqi Turkmen Literature
Ankara, Turkey – Brekan Publishing House in the Turkish capital, Ankara, recently released a new book in Turkish titled:
(Irak Türkmen Edebiyatında Genç Kalemler) “Young Poets in Iraqi Turkmen Literature”
The book is authored by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Khalil Khidhir Al-Qassab, a faculty member in the Department of Turkish Language at the College of Arts, University of Mosul.
The book delves into the biographies and works of 33 young Turkmen poets from various regions of Iraq. It aims to highlight the literary creativity within this demographic, showcase their talents, and document their cultural presence in the Turkmen literary scene. The author also seeks to provide a platform for young writers to express their visions and concerns, foster cultural communication between generations, and open new horizons for readers and researchers interested in contemporary Turkmen literature.
