Faculty Member from College of Arts Participates in virtual Scholoarly Lecture
Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Al-Bayati, Head of the Sociology Department at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, recently participated in an online scholarly lecture titled “Revolution and False Consciousness.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Fatima Al-Thabet from the University of Babylon on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, via the “Enlightenment Dialogue” platform.
The session featured a rich academic discussion on concepts of consciousness, alienation, and the social representations of revolution. This engaging exchange underscored the profound interest in intellectual, critical, and social analytical issues within contemporary Arab society.
