College of Arts

The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts held a defense for a doctoral dissertation on Monday, August 25, 2025. The dissertation, titled “Systemic Criticism in the Works of Amna Bellali,” was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Ta’i; the Head of the Department, Dr. Ahmed Salih Al-Mawla; and several faculty members.

The study, submitted by student Saja Ghanem Sa’adullah Sultan Al-Ubaidi, aimed to uncover the systemic critical approach in the works of Amna Bellali. It specifically sought to trace the critical mechanisms she employed in her textual analyses and literary readings.
