A Master’s thesis discussion was held at the College of Arts, Department of English, with the title: “A Marxist Reading of Alienation in Ursula K. Le Guin’s Novels ‘The Word for World is Forest,’ ‘The Left Hand of Darkness,’ and ‘The Dispossessed.'” The thesis was presented by student Israa Yaseen Khudair Abbas and supervised by Professor Dr. Wafaa Abdul Latif Abdul Ali on September 8, 2025.
