Ph.D. Student Wins “Three Minute Thesis” Competition at University of Mosul

Ph.D. student from the College of Arts, Ameen Abdul Rahman Diyaa, secured first place in the “Three Minute Thesis” (3MT) competition at the University of Mosul. The event, held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi. The competition challenged doctoral students to present their research in a clear and concise manner within a strict three-minute time limit.
Ameen Abdul Rahman Diyaa, from the Department of English at the College of Arts, earned the top prize, while Mustafa Raed Najib from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics also achieved an advanced ranking.
The Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, honored the winning student, stating that this accomplishment reflects the distinction and academic competence of the college’s researchers.
