Consulting Bureau for Languages and Translation Holds First Meeting
The Board of Directors for the Consulting Bureau for Living Languages and Translation at the College of Arts held its first meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, and was attended by the bureau’s director, Professor Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, and other board members.
The meeting focused on several consulting projects submitted to the bureau, with appropriate recommendations being made to reflect the bureau’s vital role in serving the university and the community. The session also emphasized the importance of developing work mechanisms to provide academic and practical consultations in various fields, as well as supporting university students and researchers in their work.
The meeting also included a review of future work plans and the expansion of cooperation areas to achieve integration between the academic and applied aspects of their work.
