Academic Workshop at the College of Arts on Registration Publication Procedures
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Office of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, organized an academic workshop in collaboration with the Adab Al-Rafidain Journal Unit. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Latif, Assistant Dean of the College for Scientific Affairs.
The workshop aimed to familiarise students with the mechanisms for the local publication of academic research, particularly following the transition of University of Mosul journals from the E-Journal platform to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, as many students encounter difficulty in using the new system.
The session included a practical demonstration of how to create user accounts on the platform, upload research papers, and clarified the steps for preparing scientific research in accordance with adopted publication standards. The workshop also discussed the main challenges students face during the registration and publication process, and methods for overcoming them, thereby contributing to the support of scientific research within the university.
