Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Hanno Al-Tai, the Department of Turkish Language, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized its inaugural academic seminar for the 2025-2026 academic year. Held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the department’s videoconference hall, the seminar was titled “The Evolution of Turkish Literature from the Ottoman to the Republican Era.” This session is part of a strategic series of scholarly activities designed by the department to deepen academic knowledge concerning the historical trajectory and developmental stages of Turkish literature. Furthermore, the initiative actively seeks to strengthen academic and cultural communication between diverse languages and civilizations by exploring how profound historical, political, and social transformations shape literary expression.
