The Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Hanno Al-Tai, participated on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the crucial “Academic Bridge between Iraq and the United Kingdom” initiative, organized by the British Council in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad. The fundamental objective of this initiative is to actively strengthen academic and research cooperation between Iraqi and British universities, while simultaneously developing programs focused on the internationalization of higher education to enhance educational quality and foster openness to valuable global experiences. This event saw high-level participation, including the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, alongside other university leaders, who collectively emphasized that such strategic initiatives are an effective and essential step toward the comprehensive development of Iraqi university education and the establishment of robust international partnerships.
