A Field Study on Fertility Indicators: A Master’s Thesis Discussion on a Local Community in Yathrib Sub-district
The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts held a Master’s thesis discussion on Thursday, October 16, 2025, for the study titled “Fertility Indicators in a Local Community: A Field Social Study in Yathrib Sub-district.”
The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Taie, the Head of the Department, Dr. Firas Abbas Fadhil, and several faculty members.
The study, submitted by the student Haitham Ibrahim Taha Shbeeb Al-Hashmawi in the Department of Sociology, aims to analyze fertility and its indicators as a major factor in demographic changes. Consequently, the research serves as a fundamental basis for understanding population growth within the local community.
