Workshop Organized by the College of Arts: “The Duties of the University Psychological Counselor”

In line with the College of Arts’ commitment to developing academic performance and enhancing psychological support for students, the University Psychological Counseling Unit organized a two-day training workshop titled “The Duties of the University Psychological Counselor.” The workshop was held on October 12 and 13.
The training targeted heads of scientific departments and counseling liaison members to strengthen academic and psychological support for students.
Lectures during the workshop were delivered by:
- The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Taie.
- The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdullatif.
- The Head of the Unit, Dr. Iman Hammadi.
The sessions reviewed the key responsibilities of the Psychological Counseling Unit and explored avenues for cooperation between the Unit and the scientific departments, aiming to improve academic performance and the overall university environment.
This initiative aligns with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education), by enhancing the skills of academic staff and developing the system of psychological and educational support for students.
