Faculty Member Participates in Al-Noor University’s First International Scientific Conference
Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Yousif Hazim, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, participated in the proceedings of the First International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Arts/Department of Archaeological Tourism at Al-Noor University. The conference was held on the university campus from October 21 to 22, 2025.
Dr. Hazim presented his research paper titled: “The Governmental and societal Role and Its Importance in the Protection and Preservation of the Archaeological and Heritage Legacy of Archaeological Sites in Iraq.” The paper discussed methods for enhancing collaboration between official institutions and the community to safeguard the civilizational and cultural heritage, emphasizing its importance as an integral component of national identity and a pillar of sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Hazim was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the President of Al-Noor University in recognition of his effective participation and scholarly contribution to the conference proceedings.
