Sociology Dept Hosts Seminar on “Investment in the Youth Sector: A Guarantee for the Present and Future”
The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, organized a two-day seminar titled “Investment in the Youth Sector: A Guarantee for the Present and Future,” held on October 22 and 23, 2025, in the College’s Al-Salam Hall.
The seminar featured presentations by Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadhel, Professor Dr. Harith Hazim Ayoub, and Assistant Professor Dr. Shallal Hameed Sulaiman. Their lectures addressed the critical importance of empowering youth and leveraging their creative energies across the fields of employment, innovation, and community development.
Furthermore, the speakers discussed strategies for supporting young people and creating opportunities for their effective participation in the economic and social sectors, thereby contributing to the establishment of a stable present and a promising future for society.
