Master’s Thesis Discusses “Histories of the Ayyubid Dynasty: A Study in Methodology and Content”

The Department of History at the College of Arts discussed a Master’s thesis titled “Histories of the Ayyubid Dynasty: A Study in Methodology and Content” on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Ta’i, the Head of the Department, Dr. Salih Mahmoud Saeed, and a number of the college’s faculty members.

The study, presented by student Zainab Akram Hamdi in the History Department, aims to compare the works of three historians—Ibn Wasil, Ibn al-Dawadari, and Ibn al-Hanbal—focusing on the methodology and content of their books regarding the Ayyubid Dynasty.
