Scholarly Workshop on Research Methodology and its Role in Developing Human Sciences
The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts organized a scientific workshop on Monday, December 1, 2025, titled “Scientific Methodology and its Role in Enhancing Scientific Research in Human Sciences.”
Workshop Content and Objectives
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Hamdan Ramadan Mohammed.
The focus was on the methodological foundations of scientific research within the Human Sciences, detailing the necessary steps for a rigorous study:

Identifying and Formulating the Research Problem: The crucial initial step of defining what the research seeks to address.

Data Collection and Analysis: The process of gathering relevant information and employing suitable analytical techniques.

Drawing and Interpreting Conclusions: Arriving at and explaining the significance of the final research findings.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed emphasized the critical need to adhere to a precise scientific sequence throughout all research stages to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results.
