Mastering Academic Integrity: English Department Hosts MLA Citation Workshop
The Department of English at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, organized a scholarly workshop titled “Documenting Sources in the Works Cited List According to the MLA Style” (MLA Works Cited List).
The event took place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in the Department Hall, commencing at 11:00 AM, and saw the attendance of the department’s staff and postgraduate students.

The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce participants to the fundamentals of academic documentation in accordance with the Ninth Edition of the MLA Style (MLA9). It aimed to enhance their skills in preparing a bibliography accurately and precisely, in addition to fostering the values of academic integrity and preventing plagiarism. Furthermore, the session included practical training on utilizing modern digital tools for reference formatting.
