Knowledge Technology Students Get Hands-On Look at Modern Library Systems
The Department of Information and Knowledge Technology organized an academic visit to the Central Library at Al-Noor University on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
The visit aimed to directly expose students to the organizational mechanisms used in the library and provide practical familiarity with the latest information retrieval systems and available digital databases.
The tour also included an overview of the automated circulation systems and methods for managing electronic resources within a modern library environment.
At the conclusion of the visit, a discussion was held to answer students’ inquiries regarding the future of information management in the digital environment and the prospects for development in the field of information services.
