Higher Diploma Thesis Defense: Social Problems and Their Impact on Societal Peace
The Department of Sociology in the College of Arts discussed a Higher Diploma thesis titled “Social Problems and Their Impact on Social Peace – A Field Study” on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
The defense was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Taie, the Head of the Department, Dr. Firas Abbas Fadhil, and a number of the College’s faculty members.
The study, presented by the student Yousef Muhammad Ibrahim in the Department of Sociology, aimed to determine the extent of the influence of social problems on social peace.
