College of Arts Celebrates Holy Qur’an Day with Scientific and Cultural Festivity

The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts held a scientific and cultural celebration today, January 18, 2026, to commemorate Holy Qur’an Day. The event was held in the presence of the Dean of the College of Arts and featured the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members and students.

The program featured a profound scientific lecture delivered by Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Fadhil Al-Nuaimi, titled “Qur’anic Objectives” (Maqasid Qur’aniyya). During the session, Dr. Al-Nuaimi explored:
