M. A. thesis at the Department of Arabic Language about the vocal efforts of Ahmed Muhammad Kaddour

The Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts held a viva for a master’s thesis entitled “THE VOICE EFFORTS OF AHMED MUHAMMAD QADOUR,” on December 06, 2021 in Ibn Al-Atheer Hall of the Faculty of Arts, part of which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Muhammad Afin and the head of the department of Arabic Language Prof. Dr. Maan Yahya Alabbady with a group Affiliate and faculty of the college.The thesis presented by the student (Hobballah Muhammad Daoud) in the Department of Arabic Language, dealt with the vocal efforts of one of the most important modern linguists, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Qadour, where he contributed to the Arabic linguistic reality, and presented it in a manner commensurate with the spirit of the age, which prompted us to follow his linguistic activity and tracing his intellectual origins that dictated the trends of opinion in him.The study was based on a descriptive approach that relied on monitoring phonetic knowledge in the writings and research of Dr. Ahmed Kaddour, fulfilling in its presentation – as much as possible – the dimensions of the linguistic study with its ancient and modern sides.The study aimed to shed light on the biography of Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Kaddour and his most important scientific contributions, writings, research and tireless efforts in modern audio studies.The viva committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Firas Abdel Aziz Abdel Qader, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Faisal Marei Hassan from the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul and the teacher Dr. Khaled Hazem Idan, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Rafe’ Abdel Ghani Yahya.
