Sustainable development– clean water and healthy freshness.
The provision of clean water and hygiene (the sixth Sustainable Development Goal) is the foundation of public health and human dignity. Iraq is facing critical challenges related to water scarcity and river pollution, which makes the integration of Sustainable Development Management in the water sector essential to secure safe drinking water and protect future generations. An introductory seminar at the Faculty of Arts on rationalizing water consumption and promoting sustainability.. The University psychological counseling division held an orientation seminar entitled” towards rationalizing water consumption and ensuring sustainability”, in cooperation with the French language department, in the framework of promoting environmental awareness and establishing a culture of responsible use of Water Resources. On Wednesday 31/12/2025 The seminar was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Atheel Abdul Khaliq said, and Lecturer  Qatran Bashar Ali, Assistant Lecturer Baraa Ibrahim.
They discussed scientific and guidance topics that contribute to supporting the concepts of sustainability. The seminar was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Heno, along with a number of teaching staff, and was characterized by a remarkable interaction and constructive participation from the attendees, reflecting their interest in the importance and vitality of the topic.
