College of Dentistry Conducts a Voluntary Field Visit to the Elderly Care Home as Part of the “Rahma Wasila” Initiative

As part of the “Rahma Wasila” Initiative launched by the University of Mosul on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and under the direct patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, the Volunteer Work Unit, the Human Rights Unit, and the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College carried out a voluntary field visit to the Elderly Care Home.
The visit, which involved students and academic staff from the Department of Dental Technology, included the provision of therapeutic services to the residents of the home. This visit comes as a continuation of a series of previous visits aimed at enhancing healthcare services and providing humanitarian support to this important segment of society.
This initiative took place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, reaffirming the College of Dentistry’s commitment to its social and humanitarian role, its endeavor to promote a culture of volunteerism, and to strengthen the values of solidarity and compassion, in alignment with the University’s mission of community service and the achievement of sustainable development.
