As part of the Continuing Education activities, the Studies and Planning Division at the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department / Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, organized a workshop entitled “Violence Against Women and Ways to Reduce It.” The workshop was held on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, at Lecture Hall No. (2) in the College.
The workshop lecture was delivered by Ms. Sally Moqdad Younis from the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, during which she highlighted the importance of curbing the phenomenon of violence against women in all its forms.
The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, along with a number of faculty members and students. The session witnessed notable interaction, represented by a series of questions and substantive interventions, which were addressed by the lecturer, who emphasized the role of awareness and effective communication in enhancing institutional performance and safeguarding the university environment.
