College of Dentistry Conducts a Voluntary Field Visit to the Nursing Home within the “Rahma Wasila” Initiative

Within the framework of the “Rahma Wasila” initiative launched by the University of Mosul on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and under the patronage and direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, the Volunteer Work Unit, the Human Rights Unit, and the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College conducted a field visit to the Nursing Home.
The visit included the participation of students and faculty members from the Department of Dental Technology, during which therapeutic and healthcare services were provided to the residents of the home. This activity represents a continuation of a series of previous visits aimed at strengthening healthcare support and humanitarian assistance for this important segment of society.
This initiative took place on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, reaffirming the College of Dentistry’s commitment to its social and humanitarian role, as well as its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of volunteerism and to reinforce the values of solidarity and compassion, in alignment with the University’s mission to serve the community and achieve sustainable development.
