College of Dentistry Organizes Workshop on Patient and Dentist Rights to Promote a Safe Therapeutic Environment

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the supervision and support of Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry, and Professor Dr. Ali Rajeh Al-Khateeb.
the Human Rights Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit at the College of Dentistry and the High Commission for Human Rights (Nineveh Office), organized a scientific workshop entitled: “Between Culture and Responsibility: Patient and Dentist Rights in a Safe Treatment Environment.”
The workshop was held at the College of Dentistry on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. It addressed key themes focusing on the legal and ethical frameworks governing the relationship between the dentist and the patient and emphasized the importance of ensuring the provision of healthcare services in compliance with human rights standards. This contributes to fostering a safe and responsible academic and clinical environment.
