The Advisory Council of Department of Computer Engineering convened on May 14, 2024, to deliberate on several key matters. The following items were discussed:

• The necessity of conducting a comprehensive survey and organizing a workshop aimed at identifying and analyzing scientific lessons learned from past challenges, with the objective of formulating effective strategies to enhance academic outcomes.
• The importance of institutionalizing an annual departmental exhibition to showcase student projects, thereby fostering a culture of innovation and academic excellence.
• The need to intensify the department’s focus on statistical instruction and practical training activities, particularly through the use of Microsoft software tools.
• The encouragement of organizing applied scientific competitions among students within the department to promote engagement and practical skill development.
• The recommendation to provide pre-graduation training for students on the preparation of professional résumés, equipping them with essential career readiness skills.

The Council strongly recommends the adoption and implementation of the aforementioned proposals in the forthcoming period, with the aim of advancing the department’s academic performance and overall educational quality.
