Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the College of Environmental Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit in the Presidency of the University of Mosul, held a workshop entitled:
(Activating the twelfth goal (responsible consumption and production))
This morning, Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the college discussion hall.
It was delivered by:

– Assistant Professor Taha Ahmed Al-Tayyar / Environmental Research Center
– Lecturer Dr. Hassan Hassan Jassim / College of Environmental Sciences
– Assistant Lecturer Sufyan Hisham Abdul Rahman / College of Environmental Sciences
The workshop aimed to clarify the importance of sustainable development for current and future generations, as well as clarifying the importance of sustainable consumption by not wasting resources, recycling them and managing them safely.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, also presented certificates of participation to the lecturers and those in charge of the workshop.
