Workshop at the College of Environmental Sciences on the use of modern technologies in the diagnosis of medically active compounds..

 

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Rahab Abdul-Jabbar Hamid, Head of the Department of Environmental Health, the Department of Environmental Health, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul / Department of Studies and Planning, held a workshop entitled (Production, isolation and diagnosis of medically active compounds using some modern techniques) this morning, Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the college discussion hall.

The workshop included an explanation of the technique of culturing plant tissues as a source of food and medically active compounds and an explanation of how the HPLC device works.

It also included methods for diagnosing organic compounds using infrared rays.
