Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the training course entitled “Basics of Using Word and Excel Programs to Formulate Official Correspondence” was launched on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the computer lab at the Deanship of the College, which will last for five days from November 24 to 28, 2024.

It was presented by Lecturer Muthina Abdullah Mustafa, Assistant Lecturer Raghad Duraid Al-Dabbagh, Assistant Lecturer Dhafer Thamer Mukhlef, and Assistant Lecturer Fanar Nayef Jardo.

The course covered explaining the basics of Word and Excel programs and explaining how to use them, starting from the main interface, creating tables, functions, shortcuts, and file saving methods.

The course included explaining how to prepare an official correspondence form and create special patterns in the Word program.

The course aimed to develop the staff’s skills in using Word and Excel programs.
