A workshop at the College of Environmental Sciences on monkeypox..
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the College of Environmental Sciences / Department of Environmental Health, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled (Monkeypox and Human Health), today, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the college discussion hall.
It was delivered by Dr. Rawaa Mahmoud Hamoushi, Assistant Professor Ashraf Siddiq Elias, and Assistant Lecturer Basma Bashar Hassib, lecturers at the College of Environmental Sciences.
The lecture included a historical introduction to monkeypox and the pathological signs to identify it and the people most susceptible to it, as well as treatments, vaccines, and methods of prevention.
The lecture aimed to define monkeypox, its spread methods, and the people most susceptible to it.
