College of Environmental Sciences

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and within the framework of the third national plan for women, security and peace, the College of Environmental Sciences / Women’s Affairs Committee, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul and the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific workshop entitled “Enhancing women’s self-confidence and their leadership role in management”, this morning, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the auditorium hall in our college.

It was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Basman Salah Omar and Lecturer Dr. Amoush Abdul Qader, lecturers at the College of Education for Humanities at our university.

The lecture included explaining the role of women in society and its importance, defining the concept of self-confidence in women, as well as the most important problems that women face in society.

The workshop aimed to clarify the leadership role of women in society and their contribution to the development of education, politics and the environment.
