A workshop on programmatic accreditation was held at the College of Environmental Sciences.

 

Under the patronage of Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the College of Environmental Sciences/Division of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, in cooperation with Al-Noor University and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Mosul Presidency, held a workshop entitled “Programmatic Accreditation Standards” this morning, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in the college’s discussion hall.

The workshop included an introduction to programmatic accreditation standards and an explanation of the components of the guide and the procedures required to apply for accreditation, including documenting evidence to ensure accreditation requirements are met.

The workshop concluded with an open discussion, answering attendees’ questions, and exchanging experiences on best practices in implementing programmatic accreditation.

The workshop aimed to focus on the importance of programmatic accreditation in ensuring the quality of education and improving the reputation of educational institutions.
