College of Environmental Sciences

On the occasion of National Tree Planting Day, and in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the recommendations of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and participation of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and the Dean’s Assistants, the College of Environmental Sciences held a major tree planting campaign today, March 19, 2025, which included planting trees and roses in the college gardens.

The college, under the supervision of the Director of Administration, also launched a group of students on bicycles to distribute awareness posters and brochures about tree planting and its importance on campus, coinciding with National Tree Planting Day.
