Students from the Climate Change Department visited the Meteorological Department.
Under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Muhammad Al-Taie, and under the supervision and attendance of the Head of the Climate Change Department, Dr. Ali Zain Al-Abidin Al-Azeer, and the Department’s Rapporteur, Dr. Marwan Jameel, first-year students from the Climate Change Department, accompanied by a select group of faculty members, visited the Meteorological Department in Rashidiya on Monday, April 28, 2025.
The students were briefed on the equipment and devices used to determine weather forecasts, the maps used to determine weather conditions, and the computer programs used to determine weather conditions.
They were received by Professor Anmar Qasid Al-Najmawi, Head of the Meteorological Department, and Professors Jihad Kazim and Ibrahim Nazir.
