The President of the University of Mosul awards a letter of thanks to a lecturer in the College of Environmental Sciences for registering bacterial strains in the International GenBank on behalf of Iraq.

As part of the ongoing scientific achievements of the College of Environmental Sciences, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, awarded a letter of thanks and appreciation to Assistant Lecturer Alaa Jassim Muhammad, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Technology at the College of Environmental Sciences, for registering ten new bacterial strains in the International GenBank on behalf of Iraq:
1. Escherichia coli strain TR 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
2. Escherichia coli strain RRQ 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
3. Escherichia coli strain REA 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
4. Escherichia coli strain MMT 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
5. Escherichia coli strain MMH 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
6. Escherichia coli strain HHT 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
7. Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain LEN 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
8. Pseudomonas putida strain MMR 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
9. Enterococus faecalis strain MHRL 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
10. Raoultella ornithinolytica strain MMS 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence
