The Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences participated in a ministerial committee to evaluate the academic and scientific reality of the colleges of science at the University of Kirkuk.

The Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, accompanied by the Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil, participated in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the academic and scientific status of the colleges of science at the University of Kirkuk.
This participation is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to improve university performance and ensure academic quality in higher education institutions. The field visit included various aspects of the college, including the scientific departments, educational and research laboratories, the chemical warehouse, the conference hall, and the library. The committee reviewed the available facilities, the educational process, and the degree to which the academic programs conform to approved national standards.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Abdullah Ali Muhammad Tamim, the Scientific Assistant, Professor Hawraz Nazim Jabbar, and a number of department heads. They gave a detailed presentation on the infrastructure, development plans, and efforts to support scientific research and create an integrated educational environment that contributes to raising the academic level of students.
This participation is an extension of the role of the College of Environmental Sciences at the University of Mosul in supporting and exchanging expertise with similar colleges across Iraqi universities, contributing to the development of the educational process and strengthening frameworks for scientific cooperation.
Finally, the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, and Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil received letters of thanks and appreciation for their active and positive participation in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the academic and scientific status of the colleges of science.
