Summer training scene in the Environmental Technology Department
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, and the follow-up of the Head of the Environmental Technology Department, Dr. Ayad Fadhil Al-Nama, and as part of the summer training program for third-year students in the Environmental Technology Department, a number of department instructors visited summer training students at the General Company for Oil Products, the Mosul Gas Power Plant, the Mosul Municipality/Al-Rabi’a Sector, the Flower Water Project, the Nineveh Municipalities Directorate, and the Environmental Research Center.
The instructors supervised the students’ training by examining the most important stages of energy production and identifying the important components involved in environmental treatments and reducing the risks of environmental pollution. The students were also monitored and provided with advice and guidance through several awareness and environmental lectures.
The students expressed their happiness and gratitude to their instructors and supervisors for their continuous follow-up and for overcoming any obstacles they faced during their training. This activity achieves the fourth goal (quality education) of the Sustainable Development Goals.
