A scientific workshop entitled: An introductory workshop on the ministerial SIS system

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Walid Saeed Al-Abbasi, the College of Environmental Sciences/Continuing Education Unit at our college, in cooperation with the Computer Center, held a workshop entitled “An Introductory Workshop on the Ministerial SIS System” this morning, Monday, October 6, 2025, in the college’s discussion hall.
The workshop was delivered by:

The workshop included a discussion of the working mechanism of the Ministerial Student Information Management System (SIS) and ways to address the difficulties faced by examination committees, department rapporteurs, and the registration director and staff while using the system. The workshop also addressed the preparations and requirements necessary to begin implementing the examination committee system, ensuring smooth and accurate workflow.
The workshop also discussed the most important challenges and obstacles facing students in implementing HEPIQ. During the workshop, the most prominent problems observed were reviewed and appropriate solutions were discussed. With the aim of raising performance efficiency and improving the quality of academic and administrative services, the workshop achieved two of the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
In conclusion, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Walid Saeed, presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ahmed Muhammad Hani of the Computer Center for his valuable efforts and active participation.
