College of Environmental Sciences

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Muthanna Jassim Al-Tai, Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, the College of Environmental Sciences/Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance/Laboratory Accreditation Unit at the University of Mosul, held a workshop entitled “Laboratory Self-Assessment Report.”

The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Hanin Ali Hussein from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, and Assistant Lecturer Rand Ataba Farqad Al-Jamil from the College’s Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division.

The workshop included an explanation of the self-assessment report criteria and its application mechanisms according to national standards, in addition to the steps for preparing reports and ways to improve laboratory performance in colleges.

The workshop also emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of quality and developing the laboratory environment in line with the requirements of academic accreditation.
